Greetings Parents and Guardians:

Clayton County Public Schools is pleased to announce the launch of the Summer Learning Academy (SLA) Program. This program will begin on June 2, 2025, and continue through June 25, 2025, excluding Fridays and Juneteenth (June 19th).
The SLA will offer reading, writing, math, and STEM education for students in grades K-8. It will target academic gaps, teach foundational skills in math and literacy, and emphasize critical thinking through real-world problem-solving in STEM.
The SLA program is available to currently enrolled CCPS students in grades PreK - 8th. We provide breakfast, lunch, and transportation. SLA Registration opens February 14, 2025, and remains open through March 9, 2025. Parents can apply for the SLA programs using https://applyclayton.schoolmint.com/login. Parents will need to create a SchoolMint account if they do not already have one. To do so, they will need their child’s CCPS student ID number for account creation and registration.
We encourage you to register early because availability is limited. Parents and guardians will receive information via email regarding their child's assigned summer learning program, along with pertinent details, such as bus routes, instructional timings, and more. We will communicate this information prior to the end of the school year.

Greetings Valued Member of Clayton County Public Schools,

Clayton County Public Schools is developing a strategic plan and invites you to participate! The district wants to hear your thoughts on what you want your public schools to provide for students, what the schools are doing well, and what challenges the schools and students face.
A planning team representing the school district and the community will use this input to assist them in developing the plan. All survey responses are anonymous. The survey is being administered by the Georgia School Boards Association. The survey will be live February 28-March 28, 2025
